Spring is right around the corner. Spring brings to mind new life as winter climates give way to warmer weather. Plants, trees and flowers start to bloom, birds and butterflies start to fly all around, and winter boots, sweaters, and coats are exchanged for shorts, t-shirts, and flip flops. The coming of Spring symbolizes the coming of Easter. Easter also reminds us of new life—the new life we are given when we accept Jesus as our Savior and Lord. What are we doing with our new life? Are we serving the Lord with our new life? Are we helping those that are lost find new life? Look at your life today and start living your new life in a way that brings glory God.
3 Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined him in his death? 4 For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives. Romans 6:3-5 (NLT)
17 This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT)
